We Need IDEAS, Don’t You Think?

As a new month begins, it’s time to announce our newest Give A Sh*t partner for August, IDEAS.

IDEAS stands for Intestinal Disease Education Awareness Society and is a multi-service non-profit from Langley, British Columbia in Canada.

IDEAS aims to raise awareness and reduce the stigmatization of intestinal disease, as well as providing support and resources to patients and their loved ones. Their mission is to provide quality of life enhancing programs for children and young adults afflicted with intestinal diseases and their families. IDEAS conducts advocacy programs on behalf of all people living with intestinal diseases. Their vision is to free society from the social stigma attached to intestinal diseases.
Some of their most recent events include the IBD Adventures team supports individuals amazing opportunities like trekking The Great Wall of China to give ostomates & IBD sufferers a way to challenge themselves and overcome obstacles.

Founder Rob Hill speaks candidly about his experiences with , his active lifestyle, and much more. Rob is well-received by children and youth of all ages.

 

IDEAS is also behind the popular website Uncover Ostomy.
