If you’ve ever thought that you can’t make a difference because you are too young, think again. Robbie Murray, was 9 years old when he started Robbie’s Rainbow two years ago and is changing lives with a little help from his friends. We are happy to join Robbie’s crusade for the month of April and will be donating 15% of all purchases this month to help kids in need.
My name is Robbie, I am 9 years old and I have Crohn’s disease. There are a lot of kids living with Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis. Some kids feel better when they take a pill, I feel better after I have my drug infusion.
Some kids need the same medicine I do but they can’t afford it and their families don’t have a drug plan to help.
WE WANT TO HELP! All the kids with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis who need expensive drug treatment should be allowed to have it.
Me, my family and friends started Robbie’s Rainbow to help kids, who can’t afford their drug treatments, get the drug care they really need. The money we raise helps families access the care their children need. I want every kid with Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis to feel as healthy and happy as I do!
Please help me find the “pot-of-gold” at the end of our rainbow!
Robbie’s Rainbow is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of children living with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We achieve our goal by helping children access expensive drug treatments not covered by private or provincial health plans.
We further our support by providing families and their young patients with factual and reliable resources. Our parent mentoring program helps newly diagnosed families better understand their child’s treatment options and we provide a comforting voice when parents need to talk about their fears and concerns.
In providing access to treatment, resources and support, we believe we will impart confidence and understanding of Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis for parents and their children.
Robbie’s Rainbow was established in January 2010, when Robbie witnessed a child denied treatment. The child’s family lacked the financial resources to access critical drug care.
Over the last 2 years, Robbie and our 11 Ambassadors continue to commit their time and efforts, to make a difference in the lives of children living with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
Join our Crohn’s warriors and make a difference, one child at a time!
